i used my jokinen rule to move langkow to left wing, when i was wondering at the time whether or not i had to use it again for this coming season i was told i would have to use it again on langkow... it makes more sense as it was a temporary stop gap, langkow needs to be switched to center just like heatley to the wing
i really dont think it would be retro-active. i had done task for league doing a conference and when the rosters were updated first time it switched alot of people. i had task of going through and making sure all players were switched back.. heatley was one of those guys. id find it dificult to believe he'd be auto moved to wing just my opinion..
as for the other comment you've made about luke... what? all he said was you were winning the majority of trades you were in and said you were quite smart... where's the "blatant attack"? calm down man...
Don't know what Kirk is bitching about, Luke was complimenting him...
And while Kirk has drastically improved is top end players he's lost some youth and some depth along the way... it was his schrewed trading in the PAST that got him to where he is now for the most part I think.
And I also think Heater should go back to wing, my understanding was that the Jokinen rule guys were moved just for the one season.
Getting off topic, Jokinen guys will be placed back at their prior position, the ones I can see off the top of my head are Heatley, Horcoff, and Langkow, though I'm sure there is a few more.
Not that it really matters but I agree with Steve and Bryce in that players should be moved back to there actual positions. There is no way in hell Heatley should be a Center or Federov a D-man just because they played there for 3 or 4 games in there careers.
I don't know what happend in the past but it sounds like the grey area was very wide open. A guy like Drury though or Sobotka I think the GM should have the option of choosing where to move him (before the BRHL Season Starts) since their NHL teams move them back and fourth frequently. Will position changes be totally out the window?
That said Kessel is listed as a C on the NHL page right now looking and he maybe played 2 games there last year so is there a site where they actually list games played at a postion?
To be honest who cares what others think of your trades? You do what you think is best for your team......FHL is not NHL and unfortunatley most people gauge a trade by NHL value.
And your welcome to everyone else for trading Kirk "the Curse".
i really like this deal torres will fill perfect 3rd line spot with his IT and ST. Also i look for him to have a bounce back year in CLB being on the top 2 lines and a PP unit..
