In a poorly kept secret, the Bruins head office has confirmed two deals already that have been made now that trading has opened, with more to come in the following days.
The first deal that i being leaked has the Bruins trading 4th overall, Pascal LeClaire, Vlad Sobotka and Pit 5th coming back are the second overall pick and Ilya Bryzgalov.
Also noted are that Ilja Bryzgalov was then flipped with marcel ossa and Martin Havlat, to Ottawa, in exchange for Brad Boyes, Ray Emery, David Backes, Min 5th, NYI 5th, and Ottawas first in 2009.
These deals have helped replenish our depth, and youth, while giving us the first two picks in the draft, ensuring that Patrick Kane and Sam Gagner will be wearing Bruisn jerseys come draft day!!!!!
I'm sure he will take him 1st. It'd be a similar move to what the Sabres did last season when they took Toews at number 2 and let Erik Johnson slide to their 2nd seletion, 3rd overall.
