I'm confused at this. Is this just guys that didnt get NHL time last year that you'd like rated (based off junior or AHL numbers) and added to your farm team with their Entry Level Contract also starting?

I think thats exactly what it is, the ratings that have been released are for guys who played in the NHL last year, guys who didn't but are eligible based on playing AHL or watever will be created based on this prospect thingy.
Before we go and create a bunch of AHL guys we have to pay, can we get confirmation that there will be a minor league season next year, where these guys will actually be worth something?
