Ratings are doen for every NHL player who played a game last season. Now it's just a matter of getting them converted into the FHL system. Which we are working with.
As soon as we get this figured out, I will let you know and ideally we will have them up for a quick review and debate sesson then we can open up trading.

Actually, trading is still a ways away. Franchise fees will need to be in before any team can make a move. As well as the dispersal draft will take place before then as well.

Any reason that the current GMs need to wait for the dispersal draft? It doesn't really affect our rosters.
The reason that trading will not open as soon as the ratings are released is that there is an order of events that will make the transition from not having trading to opening trading easier for me.
Right now, as it stands, trading is closed. Any trade that gets sent in is deleted without me even opening. This Friday the BRHL2 Awards winners will be announced, and then this weekend Payouts will be made to reflect the awards and past season winners. Once payouts are made, I'll then be welcoming Season 3 payments (Provided a GM doesn't use their Season 2 winnings to pay for Season 3). Once every GM has paid, and every team is full trading will open.
A reason that I am holding off on opening trading to the current GMs is that I ASSUME that it's more enticing for a new GM to enter a FHL league, let alone a pay FHL league, on some level footing. I wouldn't want a GM to enter publicly knowing that they are missing out on certain trades and talk. From personal experience, I've entered leagues past certain dates in the off-season and feel that I've missed out on something.
I understand the eagerness to get the off-season started and trading opened, but we have some time ahead of us. The regular season won't start till October, the same day as the NHL. And if you were scoring at home, the entire NHL season lasted 1 extra day than the BRHL2 did. There is no rush to get everything done here at once. Especially as a commissioner, a stretched out off-season will make the order of events go much easier for me and everyone else here.
