I'll be coming up with one over the weekend.

We're in no rush, and things will take some time here. So enjoy the little break.

This is less of a schedule and more of an order of events.

Starting with:

Awards
Payouts
Re-Rates
Season 3 Payments
Dispersal Draft for open teams.
Trading Opens
Entry Draft
Final Day to sign RFA's
UFA Signing Period
Pre-Season
Regular Season

All this to be done before October when the Regular Season starts.  Gives us about 4 months, so we will not be rushing through things.

Dispersal, hmmmmm. I'm pumped for the offseason nonetheless. Going to be interesting to see the strategies teams take the 2nd time around.

Dispersal is a good idea. Spread the assets of 4-5 open teams so the new GMs start at the same spot.

oh and yah eric the islanders are in the dispersal. we know the team has a g.m but the franchise should be given a chance...

but seriously what all teams dont have g.m's???

I think off the top of my head: LA, MTL, TB not sure of others but prob at least 1-2 more if there are any firings and also some GMs might not be as vocal about their leaving.

trevor has told me he wont be returning as calgary so their is another.. (if i wasnt supposed to say sorry trev).

i would assume buffalo would step down after rumours of him giving monica lewinsky's to the commish, it seems unfair with him here :)....

we are waiting on season 3 payments before dispersing the rosters for the new GMs right?

Dispersal Draft for open teams - 1 week to organize and run
Trading Opens
Entry Draft - 2 weeks notice Id assume
Final Day to sign RFA's - At least a week timespan to get this done probably longer
UFA Signing Period - Minimum 3 weeks to run
Pre-Season

With these big items left on the list and guesstimates to the time span each will take we need at least 7 weeks to perform them and we have roughly 7-8 weeks until preseason right now assuming preseason starts around the same time as the NHL (Sept 18th or sometihng like that)

Should we get crackin? Eric, Bryce, you guys need help with anything?
