actually my point about philly arguing was because of the point that luke raised up... the fact that you had an advantage throughout two series....

about the montreal point, i was one of the more upset ones because he left so soon after he traded iginla... i realized i was being a bit of a twit by demanding that trade to be voided and the league hasn't heard anything more from me about that situation... i suggest you do the same...

usually in fhl their is a reason, know one knows what was said between me and eric but hears what happened. less than 24hrs after i asked him if everything was ok (because i was going to be gone till later hrs) and he replied YES... while at supper i got a text as the first and any kinda hint of anything being wrong from the league... i texted eric asking what was the problem and then tried to explain myself to him about my view on the rule...then he asked me to either submit the changes, or just tell him to hit auto which he would wait for.. then i asked how is it possible to have had the lines for two series to then find out that they arent valid. he said ok i will be simming in a bit.. i took that as ok yah makes sense how could they be used for two series then all of a sudden be illegal..before i got a chance to get to a pc to resend new lines with this insanity, or suggest line changes or to HIT auto via text, eric had simmed because i recieved a e-mail to my blackberry from another g.m laughing at the
game 1 loss

I'm not sure what the violation was, but the rule is quite obvious:

A. A general manager may double shift any ONE forward on the fourth line; double shifting a forward on any combination of lines one, two, and three will default that teams lines to AUTO for that days games. Furthermore, a team cannot double shift any more than one forward; this prevents teams with top heavy talent laden lines from abusing the spirit of league parity and fairness.

Kirk, if your lines didn't comply with this, it is your fault. It's not the fault of the other GM's for not noticing, not the fault of the league for not noticing until now, and it's not a anti-brother-of-the-commissioner conspiracy.

Publicly, I think I've said all that's needed to be said. But, I don't think that will go over well. So.

Kirk, cut the martyr crap. It falls on deaf ears. You have no basis on anything you've said in this thread and are completely off-base. A warning was a warning, and it was a warning that other GMs might not have been privy to. Take it as it was, an honest gesture to warn you.

I'm dumbfounded at your views as if the league is against you. Your comment about the league running the league is, again, another dumb comment. I don't have the memory to count the times you've been a whistle blower.

The situation happened. I gave you more than a fair shot at fixing. I'm not happy it happened, but it did. There's nothing I could've done last night that I didn't.
