one game out... but still improves my record to 9-2.... if only i had the same luck in picking teams in the NHL playoffs....

next round will see the upstart bluejackets losing out to the hawks in 6 unfortunately....

if atlanta wins their next game (which would be another perfect prediction from me) then buffalo will knock out the thrashers due to kirk's determination of playing hemsky on the top line in 6 whereas philly (if they win the next couple) would only last 5 games against the powerhouse sabres....

and i end a perfect 4-0 to get to 10-2... with three exact guesses on the number of games as well....

but unless kirk plays a better rated player other than hemsky on that top line, the thrashers will be on the short end against buffalo and bow out in 6 games

as stated earlier, bluejackets make a vain attempt at the cup finals but will be overpowered by the hawks in 6 as well...

He didnt exactly inherit a cup contender. It wasn't awful but it it certainly wasn't great.

u took over a team with good peices allready in place- chara-koivu-semin-boyes-and a load of cap room for the offseason.. i finished 9th worst last year (not exactly a cup contender) and buffalo was dead last ( not close to a cup contender) but both us and them have made great trades and know how to work the sim so our teams have success.. i just find it funny that after scoring 99 points and having 9 points in 12 playoff games hemsky is the reason im losing.... but the way i see it i finished 2nd best overall, have beaten a very very good team in philly ALL with hemsky on the top line how will it be HIS fault if i lose??????

4 players don't make a team, koivu i had to tag and is more suited to a 2nd line position... boyes in hindsight shouldn't have moved, but i didn't think he was going to have a breakout season.... semin i was expecting to be crap this year, i didn't think he's that good to maintain his totals from last year.... i had 4 players that would be good, with about 12 million in space....

as for you and buffalo, i would think trades benefited you and the solid prospects you have.... buffalo, i would think that a guys like crosby, carter, bouwmeester, weber, kopitar and higgins are going to ensure that buffalo (who may have bombed in the first season) will remain one of the best teams for years to come...

and seeing how you like taking shots at my team, next year i get my picks again... i have an all-star goalie in nabokov, all-star defenseman in gonchar and drury, langkow, antropov and malone who will be a solid top four.... not to mention, i just need to fill out three slots up front and one on my blueline (two depending on van ryn's rerate), i will have just under 24 million to do so....
