Can I confirm that as Bernier and Wolski are not signed to long term deals that they will sign a 10% qualifying offer? Just want to make sure I need not to do anything else?
anyone if they could comment because that rule has me a bit confused. thanks jh devs
You have to wait until they sign a deal this summer...
To quote the rules:
1. A player may not be resiged as an RFA while on his NHl entry level deal, in that case he will wait until he signs a new deal in the NHL before his BRHL2 contract is renegotiated via arbitration, a new deal, or an RFA offer.
2. In the scenario where a player is up for his BRHL2 contract and the season begins before he has resigned in the NHL, he will sign a 1 year deal, based on his BRHL OV rating. (Only applicable to NHL players on their ELC).

Can this be applied to Kyle Brodziak's contract and updated please. He is signed in NHL on ELC of 496k right now, and will not be getting a new contract in the NHL until next offseason, at which point I can use the RFA calculator.
Just want to make it clear heading into FA.
