I can understand the first movement of trying to get away, but there seems to be another attempt to stomp kesler while he's on the ground... to me it's seems like a stomp, but apparently the NHL don't think so...
i think the fact he was more pissed about his wife finding out about that reporter in edmonton... now he has to find a new release for all that pent up energy :P
The first time he landed on Kesler's leg it looked like he did it by accident when he went back the second time and "stomped" it looks like he did that on purpose since Kesler wasn't letting him just skate away, if you watch Prongers head it is looking right at Keslers leg. While I don't think he should get 30 games he should at least get something.

Expecially with 2 guys in the NHL this year alone missing major time due to large gashes in their legs from skates. Someone trying to do that on purpose must be dealt with.
I think 10 is a little heavy as well. But Pronger sure seems to get away with a lot in terms of suspension in the NHL. Sure he is a "star player" (although I dont know who buys tickets to see a big dman), but the double standard needs to be a little less obvious....
Does it matter? Is the point of the suspension to prevent Pronger from intentionally hurting someone? He has proven time and time again that his brain does not work in that way.... he has a short fuse and he will do something stupid again. I don't have a solution these guys that cannot help themselves (Simon and Pronger are both the same), but let's just hope someone doesnt get a career ending injury or killed by one of these guys before they retire....
