Just updating the Sens block as we head to the trade deadline

Kovalev could possibly be available but I have no problem keeping him around, Kovalev will get a great rerate and if you get him now he can be tagged and you would get him for the remainder of this year and two more, please keep in mind he won't be cheap as he is having a great year in the NHL, and I'm basing any deal on the fact that he would get tagged an you would get him for 2 years so please don't use the argument that you don't plan on tagging him as that doesn't change his value in my eyes.  I will need someone that can help me in the next year or two.

Mike Rathje can go, if you have the cap space to take on his contract (3.5 million) he is a great defensive Dman (79DF rating) that can help you on the PK.  Would take a pick or prospect for him.

Todd Marchant can go, he is a great defensive forward who can play LW or C he is signed up for 2yrs and while his offensive numbers slipped a bit his defensive ratings will still stay high.  As he is more then a rental so I'm really not interested in picks, I would be looking at a player that could play on the 3rd line next season for him, depending on age contract and what he will rerate to, I could possibly add a pick.
