New York Rangers are extremely proud to bring in the teams newest member Henrik Tallinder. Tallinder brings a #1 defensive shutdown prowess to a Rangers team that has been hurting in that area ever since they first dealt him away several months back. Tallinder is pencilled to be on the first defensive pairing next season with Paul Ranger and the two should prove to be one of the best combo's in the league. Leaving New York was offensive minded Brian Pothier who became expendable with the edition of Niklas Kronwall as well as having several other offensive minded defenseman within the club. Coming to the Rangers are 2 3rd round picks this ocming draft in exchange for enigmatic and soft Lukas Kaspar and diminutive thumper Martins Karsums who is a longshot at NHL duty. Rangers easily win this deal and solidifies our defensive corp.
ahhaha Rex your too funny. That was seriously only 2 min after I posted that, you must live on this thing. Anyway I've seen every home game Karsums has ever played and he's just reaping the benefits on playing on top line with good players. Only reason he's getting those points. That doesnt translate into NHL success by any means. He's a gamble..........effective at what he does, but still a gamble. I'd rather gamble with a 3rd and maybe land a stud with that pick, because I already know what Karsums brings to the table and if you've seen my roster recently I have 12 forwards with a solid DF rating in the 70's.
Kaspar i've seen play personaly about 8 occasions and he's a complete bitch and wont EVER make the NHL, not on callup status or anything. Your point that SJ drafted him, yes thats true but you smoked yourself with your own point. With al those good players they drafted, they are all ahead of Kaspar. thanks for playing though.
