There were some recent trades made that are being looked at by the BOD. Trades that are affected by other trades made today as well. Salary cap issues involving the trade could also negatively affect a team. So I feel it's in the leagues best interest if we hold off on a day, asses the matters at hand, and make the right decision. The BOD will be discussing it within the next hours, and the final result will be explained tomorrow by me.

Can you please let the Canes know why Steve Mccarthy was called back up to the pro team with out the request of the GM? His call up put us over the cap and he was not suppose to be back up.
You are not allowed to have a forward or defenseman with a rating of 70OV or higher on the farm.
"No skater with an overall rating of seventy (70) nor any goaltender with an overall rating of seventy-three (73) or higher can be sent to the minors."

Yes, every team is compliant. I checked.
If you recently traded to get him then you are responsible for being over the cap. But if the player had been on the farm roster for a while then I dunno why and a commish will have to clarify the situation, perhaps an oversight.
You have two options: Trade away one of the 8 d-men rated 70+ OV or else send down one of your 60-something forwards and ice a 7-dman, double shifted forward lineup.

Scratch that. I notice you're over cap with only 11 forwards already.
