In a recent move the Carolina Hurricanes have brought in Jay Mckee from divison rival Florida.  The Canes also added Travis Green so they could lower their cap number.  The Canes decided to give up on young talent Andrew Ladd in this deal, when asked why Canes GM responded, "Watching him this season he is just to inconsistant and had also faced another time out of the line up with injury.''  " We just felt we should get something for him while we could maxing out his value while we could."

Well the Canes d is going to be able to match anyone elses in the confrence much less the league.  Not only are they very very sound on D but they are all young and signed for very good contracts for the next 2 to 4 years.

What;s next for the Canes?  We are still looking for another Vet at forward and a back up G.
