Freddy Mercury would've been a busy man

In the words of the late Queen vocalist, "And another one bites the dust."

The Vancouver Canucks played tonights game over the cap, and as a result will lose their highest paid player. Since he has 2 players with the exact same contract, I will remove the player listed by the sim at the top of the financial earnings on the Finances page.

Jaromir Jagr will be suspended for the remainder of the season due to Vancouver playing tonight game @ Pro Payroll - $44,338,000.

Gentlemen, please keep your rosters compliant.

Eric very cunning post- I laughed (though not at Vancouver's expense) just at the general post. I wonder if we can add sound bytes to the message board because "Another one bites the dust" would be pretty funny.

It wasn't meant to make light of the situation, and is no way directed at Mike.  Was just something that came to mind.

This is not sarcasm I think it is a shame as well !

It is hard to believe that in a pay league where every player especially top ones would be chanced by not being fiscally responsible enough to cut down your payrolls and play within the limits.
That being said I would not think any GM would risk such a faux pas.

Comon guys my teams sucks and I would hate to see me squeeze into the playoffs cause you guys are not using your heads. Get those payrolls down. There are lots out here who will be willing to take on some extra payroll myself included if the right deal were to say come along.

I misunderstood the post.

When our commissioner, who is a notorious and open Flamer (Just look at his avitars), makes a post about Freddy Mercury...well i just put one and one together.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Flame on!
