Do you think if there was actually a shot at being a starting goalie, than the ducks would have got at least a pick for him? I dunno you honestly might be right- it's a peculiar move for Burke if he is going to step in to starterdom.

You would think he could have gotten a pick at least...  He is starter material though, there is no question. 

Next thing you will see though is the S. Niedermeyer is coming back...  That is what caused them putting him on waivers.  I am 99% sure that this is what is driving the move.
