They are different types of players.  EJ is solid all-round.  More if a Lidstrom type, whereas JJ has more of a mean streak to him.  More of a Chris Pronger type.  They will both be good, too early to say who will be best...

It's easy to curb a comparision..

While you only showed the stats which Jack wins you seemed to have left out the stats that Erik is leading in.

Including Goals, Assists, and +/-

Kind of funny how that works. Oh yeah and EJ is over a full year younger.

Showing the hits, blocked shots and minutes played was to show that the decision isn't so "easy"

We haven't had one of those in hockey since all-star Tom Johnson retired as a Bruin in 1965.
