I expected "Korpedo" to get cut...he needs more seasoning in the AHL to find his offensive game (assuming he has one, I don't think he does).

Berglund was cut I believe, that is kind of surprising.

ya berglund got cut.. and sent back to europe.... which sucks for me.. cause i drafted him in teh first round.. was hoping he was going to make the team.. looks like its another 1 or two. for me to wait to insert him to my lineup

I dont think Letang is going to get cut either. They have 5 dmen there. Hes gonna make the team.

I dont think any of the cuts in this thread are all that surprising except Ryan Parent. I'll have to comment on this thread a little later. Im sure we'll be surprised by some.

Letang hasn't had as good a camp as they want him to have.

Plus, Scuderi is loved by the coach, so he might end up with the 6th job.

Why give Letang 8 minutes per game on the 3rd pair? He is nowhere near ready to log top ice time on a team that expects to compete (which I think Pitts thinks they will do). May as well be in the AHL getting 25mins per game....

Oh well.

Looks like we'll have to make do with Bouwmeester, Weber, Hatcher, Erik Johnson, Christian Ehrhoff, Dan Girardi, Cory Murphy and co next year unless Letang gets a serviceable rating when he gets the call after an injury to their d.

And how would you like to be in the Habs shoes in net. Huet is a good starter, won the job in camp, Price good enough to be back up.....so you have to send Halak and Danis to the minors....
