28th rated in goaltending okay.... but 28th in terms of FUTURE goaltending... that's inexplicable!

In retrospect you could have probably received a better future grade than a couple others I ranked at Cs......although I am not really a fan of any of those guys.

If you are talking about Turple....how does he develop well with this HF review..

2006-07: Turple signed a rookie contract in 2006 and was assigned to the ECHL Gwinnett Gladiators. He had the worst save percentage in the ECHL (minimum 1440 minutes played), with .879, and the third-worst GAA at 3.77 in the regular season. Turple played just one out of four games in the playoffs, an overtime loss.

The worst save percentage in the ECHL is to you is developing well?  I think we should end the debate here.

Koshechkin is every bit as good as Barulin, both leading Russian goalie prospects, top guys.

Anyways, you second guess the c- rating for future goaltending, covering your *beep* for when one of the eight goalies makes it big time.

......so how can I give a rating for a bunch of 3s dressed up as nines.....in the next five years, which of your guys is going to be a NHL starter?

Glass who was the WORST GAA in the AHL last season?  Vincent who is going to pass both Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo on the depth chart?

Jason Smith? Who?  He isn't even the best NCAA goalie on your team....and your guy was in the 20s in ever statisical category in the NCAA last year.  And if you look at the list above, I don't even mention guys like David Brown, Brian Elliot, Ben Bishop, Jeff Zatkoff, or Jeff Frazzee.

That leaves Koshechkin as the shining light in the prospect pool.  By the time he is done this season, he will be a 25 year old Russian goalie prospect with no plans as far as I know to come over.  Was he in camp this year?  No.

So you think in a year or two he is just going to dump the RSL and come over, beat out everyone in the Lightning system and be the number one goalie overnight...no minors, no development...just off the plane to starter and stardom.

As far as I am concerned, you should put your faith in the three guys I mentioned.
