Given the fact that Crosby is being allowed to be a captain I am proposing that the rules be re-worded to officially reflect this decision.  As it stands now it seems a guy would need to be BOTH:
 
- of adequate LD
AND
- be over 24 or an NHL Captain/Alternate

Since that is not the case with Crosby (inadequate LD) I am proposing the following re-wording so we remember this decision next year etc.

In order for a player to be named a BRHL2 Captain/Alternate they must meet ONE of the following criteria.

A.  For Captains - have LD 75 or above and be 25 or oler
    For Alternates - have LD 70 or above and be 25 or older

B.  For Captains - have documentation proving that they are an NHL Captain
    For Alternates - have documentation proving that they are an NHL Alternate
