The New York Rangers are proud to name Ed Jovanovski thier teams captain and Stephane Yelle and Brendan Morrison assistant captains

Two newly brought in veterans to lead the youngsters, nice move.

Though facing ex-Isles Brind'amour in divisional games may be irksome to some in the NYI organization who feel Brindy never should have left Long Island.

I suspect/fear the Rangers captain might just play his best against his old team.

not being an ass joe but when u get a 5 point boost on a guys leadership for naming a captain kinda dont understand why you used it on a guy who had a 99 ld already

i put scott neids as my ASSISTANT captain, and ryan smyth as my CAPTAIN specifically because of this kirk :)
