Censorship

If guys are allowed to criticize my trades and call me stupid for signing Avery I sure as hell should be allowed to comment on pretty much anything I want.

I spent a while preparing a post in response to NYR's trade board thread just to have it deleted, and I am not happy with the censorship.  If you don't want it cluttering the trade board, then move it for me.  Don't delete it, that's not right.

Just for your info, since you are new...  We had a problem last year with people commenting on other GMs trade blocks.
Things like:
"You want a 1st rounder for Joe Smith!!! I wouldnt trade a 7th rounder for him!"
The point being, there is no reason for other GMs to bash people's trade blocks in public.  If a guy makes you an offer by email or message, feel free to laugh in his face, but to publicly degrade other GMs trade blocks is very weak.
I am pretty sure I have an idea on what you were commenting on, but you need to do it somewhere else.

if someone can sway someone elses opinion as easy as poking fun at someones trade block, then that person should consider not being in FHL leagues.

the fun thing about FHL leagues is almost every person values every player differently, just because one person "wouldn't trade a 7th for xxx" doesn't mean nobody else will...hell 4-5 guys would probably make a trade like that.

several fhlsim leagues have a zero tolerance rule regarding dissing a g.m.'s trade block

but there usually is some place on the baords for trade discussion, just not on a team's trade BLOCK.

Yeah I shouldn't have criticized his trade block, that was outta line.  Though, I do feel there is a bit of a double standard as there are ton's of outta line comments that don't get censored, that probably should.  There is more disrespect amongst GM's in this league than I've ever seen before.  I've not been here long and I've already had trades criticized (there is a difference between criticism and opinions you know...) and been called stupid for offering a contract to Sean Avery (still waiting for the apology Philippe).

I said there were stupid GM's in this league and I said it was a stupid move. I still stand by that and if you think I'm wrong then prove me wrong and I'll apologize but I won't apologize for saying what I thought at the moment I said it.
If you think I made a stupid trade then feel free to tell it to my face or wherever you want on the board and I'll prove you wrong by the end of the year as I did with all the criticism last year by winning the cup.

Sorry you're probably right but when I get offered lowballs after lowballs to me that's disrespect and I get sick of it so I let my frustration out and speak my mind on the board
