Mike Sillinger (PHO) 1 year @ 7 million 3.5 million SB
That almost seems like a steal of a salary for the last 78 ov on the market, an ideal second liner. One year is excellent as his offense is unpredictable. The Coyotes get a linemate for Shanny.

NONE
The Lightning signings of Adams and Bates are for one year, they presently have enough salary cap room to use them as call-ups or simply play them in the minor league. Shrewd. And Klee is overpaid but as it's only for this season he provides defense clearly under the cap.
Just decided to bump this up... Recchi placed on waivers, then brought up through re-entry waivers recently....
ian and i both thought that recchi would be pretty much dead weight next season (he's doing wonders for me this season though) Islanders GM wrote:

considering that after this season i believe that recchi would retire, i rather keep the extra 3.5 mill cash saved... that's why i only offered him a one year deal
Whether he retires or not he will be rated in the BRHL2 next season! To not get at least a 2-year contract is a waste of opportunity.
Oh well, another 75-79 ov UFA next summer for us to bid on.
I was looking for this discussion last week when he was a healthy scratch for the 6th or 7th time, but couldn't remember what thread it was under.
I was all ready to throw it into the Islander's face, but it wouldn't do any good at this point.
