Tampa Bay announces signing of Jordan Staal

The Stanley Cup Champions Tampa Bay Lightning finally announced today what everyone has known for a couple of days. Jordan Staal will be the first pick in the BRHL2 Entry Draft tomorrow and the Lightning have come to an agreement for a 3 year deal worth the maximum of $850,000 for a rookie. Staal is expected to centre the 3rd line with Chris Higgins on his left and defensive forward Steve Begin on his right.
