obviously you havent seen MAP this season and his progression. The kid is a stud and looks out of place at the AHL level and should easily be up with Edmonton tearing it up and its only a matter of time. I was also looking for additional picks which I recieved. krajicek is 8th on my defensive depth chart and he's been a healthy scratch for Vancouver multiple times this season and isnt as great as everyone thinks. Please re-examine your facts before you stuff your balls................foot in your mouth.

Anyways how's that Levacalier deal working out for ya??????

Pouliot is a great AHLer, but he's been terrible in the NHL..he's far from a stud.

Krajicek hasn't been a healthy scratch this season he has had several injuries, he broke a bone in his foot and is now out with a shoulder injury.

i dont think map is bad and he has skill if he can put it together in the nhl is another story... i liked the return being able to turn MAP -3rd-4th into salo a very nicely rated CHEAP d-man..

Cirk got the better end of this 3 way deal. Salo is the only good player in the deal in my opinion. I don't care for MAP or Kraj

I would suspect quite well considering Staal is on pace for less than 10 goals in 82 and he's got 19 of his last 20 possible points.

Don't be hating Joe.  I had lots of zingers ready for you but don't have the heart to be mean to ya.

MAP is a P.O.S.  Being from Edmonton, watching all the games and going to more than one training camp, MAP sucks...to the nth degree.  He will be lucky to be a fourth line C in the NHL.  So if that is what you were looking for, then so be it.

As for Krajicek...here is his game by game stats...
http://tsf.waymoresports.thestar.com/thestar/hockey/gamebygame.cgi?2290

No healthy scratches...maybe the one game...but who knows..that could be flu for all we know.  Anyways...those are the real facts.....MAP and his tear up the AHL at 22 years old isn't going to cut it with me.  I have seen him play lots.  He is teh suck.

And one more thing....don't take shots at someone above you in the standings.  Doesn't look good on ya. biggrin

I don't throw stones if I can avoid it.  But for Joe to throw out a jab on one of our deals, considering our overall success and long term prognosis.....

But actually Phillipe gets the best fun....and Luke second....lol

To Atlanta:
Shawn Matthias
Valtteri Filppulla
ANA4
$1M

To Anaheim:
Justin Pogge
Matt Corrente
Andreas Nodl
Lukas Kaspar
VAN3

Gotta Say I think cirk gets taken here....

Anaheim has turned around that squad quite nicely in his time there, and continues to have a top-tier future in this league... IMO..

i think cirk is gonna be in everyones ear between now and trade deadline hoping to move filppulla... lol.... so everyone expect to get some doozies from this guy :)

It began already with me about 12 minutes after deal was consumated with Anaheim :) LOL

Hahhaha   Gotta love it, you guys know I got nothing but love for ya.  I just happen to love MAP, they guy was the best player on the ice when I saw my Pbruins against Springfield a few weeks ago.  He was a clear standout and didnt belong there.  I know it hasnt translated into success in the NHL yet!........but that doesnt mean that he'll never make it.  He's listed at 6'1 but looks 6'3.   Is the 6'1 a misprint?

rex im not sure if you know this but it is ok to have picks and prospects its a good thing for a team not a bad thing.. your future looks bright bud.confusedideaconfusedideaconfusedidea..

obviously u dont know the skill of filp.. i see 30-40 goal scorer in a year or two. he is on pace for like 23-26 this year.. i would move him yes but wont be actively shopping him around after looking into his stats.  his points per minute is amazing proving he just needs more icetime in detriot to produce with vets like samuellson-holmstrom likely leaving within 2 mor eyears.. filp could be a winger on the datysuk zetterburg line and pop 40+ who knows..Matthias is a stud stud prospect who i think will be a john leclair clone. great powerforward in the making.

what i do know is kaspar is a project after doing nothing in his nhl stints so far.. corrente is a fiesty d-man but i dont see high end potential in him.. pogge is a guy who after playing a full year in the ahl the leafs thought it would be good to bring in clemmensen to split time with him.. thats gotta show they dont have to much faith in him turning into a star goalie.. nodl is a high risk player to i think he is a highly skilled player but with the forwards that are in philly now i think its going to be hard for him to come up through the ranks and get solid icetime..
