I am one of the least likely g.m.s to staop playing: i'm very active.

As for the late rounders, let's talk again AFTER the entry draft. I am in the process of a lot of research and am looking forward to next spring's draft very much!

Thats how I felt all year last year. Nothing to look forward to but the draft, and boy was it worth it!

I saw Bodnarchuk play his only AHL game last year and honestly, he looked like he could end up being solid. I mean, he has a lot to work on defensively but he definitely has the tools to be a offensive d-man at a professional level. a good guy to take a risk on.

i saw him as the captain for the QMJHL all-stars in the CHL-Russia series thats going on right now and he does look like he has wiked offensive upside but limited defense

yup, P-Bruins are solid at coaching defensemen though...so hopefully Bodnarchuk pays attention, he could end up a solid player.

It won't be Tavares, he will be in our '10 draft, but still, this is getting ugly in Long Island. It's one thing to trade away roster players that you can replace in free agency, but your first in a good draft for a bunch of garbage? Lottery tickets usually only cost a buck, not your entire life savings.

This trade isn't offical. We had a deal sent in by both parties and it was nullified because apparently we werent allowed to deal 09' picks.

We're not but Jay said he'd pay his $50 fee for next season...

I was told the the same thing. I can show you the PMs if you want. I got the feeling Eric cancelled it more because he didn't want 09 picks being traded rather than the paying part. Either way the same deal was made with us a month ago so it would be pretty hypocritical to let this one through.

Especially since value wise our deal was wayy more beneficial to Jay. Kulemin is the best russian prospect in the world. Led the super league in goal scoring last year and continues this year. Will be a leaf next year.

Atlanta and Philly have both traded 2009 picks already. I don't see this as a value issue, Jay offered me the deal, if he pays his fees he can do what he wants and it should be processed.

TO NYR: FRANCOIS BOULLION
             BRIAN WILLSIE

TO PIT:   FREDRIK NORENNA

I needed to move a 3rd tender now that I have Razor and Timmy in the pipes.  I desperately needed a rightwinger on the 4th line and depth and Willsie is playing well in LA this year and I hope will rerate up to 71 or so by next year.  With brining in the CUBE, I now can possibly shop one of my other bigname blue liners for a top leftwinger or Dman I've been after for a while now...... you know who you are and come get me sir, I'm now ready to talk.  Thanks again to Pitt for coming together on this deal that really helps our two clubs.
