I'm still waiting on the whole Mike Green issue to be cleared up for me

to florida: bergfors, t. lewis, rolo, scuderi
to philly: zherdev, sabourin, 4th, 5 mil, kuba



was a little more than i wanted to give up, but felt to get a guy of zherdevs quality it would be worth it... small upgrade on d helps and getting room under cap helps a lot too...


look for more deals to come in philly...

What loop are you expecting to be in?  Should all league issues, disagreements with other GMs be always publicly debated?  The answer is no.  If you feel like there is a league issue that needs a debate with input from all GMs, start a thread about that issue.

In cases of disagreements, the league will handle it, and if you want clarification on an issue, email the league.   There will be no more public complaining sessions on the boards.

Zherdev fails the test
Sep 26 - Not only is the Nikolai Zherdev experiment at center over, the Blue Jackets' 2003 first-round pick probably won't even be skating on the top two lines, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

"With the emergence of [centers Kris] Beech and [Jiri] Novotny, I think we can put [Zherdev] on the wing," Blue Jackets coach Ken Hitch**** told The Dispatch.

Hitch**** had been giving Zherdev the opportunity to center the first line between LW Rick Nash and RW David Vyborny, but Vyborny has been hurt.

Also, The Dispatch reported that "Zherdev has shown no drive to score goals and might have played his way out of consideration for a top-six forward."

Looks like the only position Zherdev has a lock on this season will be inside Hitch****'s doghouse.




jk with ya rex, just looks like the kid had a tough camp though probably the reason florida was willing to part with the winger.

 Nah, I don't put a whole lot of stock in preseason....was more the fact that I am not sold on Zherdev in Columbus right now, so the chance to get two prospects I like appealed to me.

zherdev has no place at all TO play unless its top-6 forward...

Zherdev sucks IMO. Hes got sick dangles, but the most useless player. Whatever team he is on will not win the stanley cup no matter what unless they bench him. In real life Im talking.

The guy is just a cancer and a loser. He'll be back to russia within 4 years.

im willing to bet alot of people would be shocked by 30 goals from zherdev this season..

ps- pisani will be great in his role of shutdown winger on third line with pandalfo..

im talking pisani in the brhl2 yes but zherdev in either league wont come close to 30 brhl or nhl.
