Vanny buddy, I dont know if you're going senile but in case you forget, You ranked your top prospects- we sent you an email because there were so many and didnt want to miss any- so you wrote your top 6 D.

Also, we judged on 2 main categories depth and top end potential. We dont see any #1 future dmen or top line forwards, just a bunch of good players.

Also this rating isn't based on forwards 10-20 just 1-9. okay?

I did NOT rank them. I simply listed some of them, from the CHL and AHL exclusively. I would have profiled the NCAA and European guys as well, and ranked them all, but I thought it sufficient to mention some talents from the OHL, WHL and AHL, leagues best known as jumping grounds to the NHL. If i had any idea my prospect forward crop would get a 3.5/10 rating, I'd have sent in a differently aligned list!

And you say you rank based on topend potential AND depth, yet rating is only based on 1-9 forwards, not 10-20, so by depth you mean depth of topend talent!

And by topend talent you mean what? The Isles have plenty of late 1st rounders and 2nd rounders who have developed nicely.

Anyways, with 30 teams to profile i can see why you did a rush job with my organization. I do appreciate seeing some lists of other team's prospects. We should all do stories like that. clap.gif

This is what we said to you word for word in the PM- I dont know how we could have made ourselves anymore clear. We didnt even look into anything else because we figured you wouldn't like our ranking and it saved us a lot of time.

Sabres wrote:Hey man whats up! Just checking if you could do 2 things for me.1)Could you make a list your top 9 forward, top 6 D and top 3 Goalie prospects or position players under 23. If you want to add a sentence about their development or anything good or bad about them do that as well. (we are making an article and you have so many we figured we'd let you do it:

You asked for a list and I gave you a list. You didn't ask for a ranking. Of course I thought you'd be doing that!

And I said I was listing non-NCAA and non-European league players to show the top developmental leagues CHL and AHL.

Anyways... something is better than nothing.

Overall, it's well worth reading the 30-team profiles.

In the meantime, congratulations Luke and Aaron in choosing your team Buffalo first overall. We never knew you had it in you!

haha, by the way, thanks!

I dont really think anyone can argue that ranking... Just take a look at the players, its the best prospect pool hands down.

 List your top...blah blah blah.

I would suggest that is asking for a ranking of your top 9.

But oh well.....no one will ever agree with their own team's rankings....people look at their own with rose coloured glasses.

hahaha so true. We tried to have a pretty objective point of view. I think we did not bad, no ones complained too much, so we must be pretty close at least haha.

Actually, I agreed with ours......but it wouldn't have mattered either way because other people's opinion of our team will never matter.

Yeah, its just for fun mostly. We wanted to hype the draft a bit and I think we've accomplished that. More picks are being traded etc...
