Good call, Ill edit that into the sched I created.
Also though, I think the rules should be addressed by GMs too. Maybe have them voted upon by the BOD, but they should be discussed. Maybe an AGM (Annual General Meeting) should be part of the yearly calendar. Make it paid or something, like 100,000 for coming to it. We can use it to discuss all rules in question. Itd be a live chat like around the drafts.
Also, Eric/Bryce, Luke and I are willing to help with smaller tasks if you'd delegate them to us. Maybe just to keep things moving. Maybe you could have a break over the entry draft or something? Me and Luke can run the entry draft if you'd like.
One more request I think we should make is maybe a forum where trades are posted as they occur rather than in giant lumps on a month to month basis.
Itd be nice to have some controversy when an unusual trade occurs. Or just to generally discuss trades right after they occur. Our boards are rather dead from time to time, so having these posted on an individual basis would be nice.

DELEGATED: Looks like someone has a job next season ;)

So you want me to post trades as they occur? How would you like me to do this if they are sent to you? If we can develop a method then Id be fine with posting them. Or are you delegating me to help with the draft?

.....The method of you checking the transactions page after each sim.
Hmmm, how about we run the draft instead? I think that those trades if posted by me and Luke all the time were done in that fashion then it wouldnt really be that beneficial.
We've said this before, but I think a real good way to do trades is by making a trade official once it is on the messageboard. Two parties discuss the trade and once they reach an agreement, the final word is "should I post it, or should you?" and both teams know that once its posted its 100% final unless rejected by the league for whatever reason.
- Its a real simple concept - GMs are doing the work FOR YOU by posting their trades - Less emails to head office - You can request a Specific format for trades to be posted in to make things easier to enter into FHL - No confirmation email is necessary as both parties must confirm before it can be posted. (if there is ever a problem with one team no concenting for a trade to be posted then Im sure itd be reversed real fast, and actually this problem has never arose in my other leagues.) - One forum holds all the transactions for the league in an easy to read order. - A seperate forum is used for opinions on trades
Luke and I will run it the way you'd like if you'd like, but I think we could get GMs to keep things orderly a bit easier if we just get them in the habit of going through the proper motions of how to post a trade. I guarantee this method would work and save everyone time all while increasing some activity in the league.
Also, me and Luke will submti a 2007 entry draft plan for you to take a look at and decide if you would like us to run the draft this year. Watch for that email today.

Let us know about our draft proposal and we can talk more about the trading stuff later. Its not a necessity like the draft is. We sent in the proposal to the league office.
