Round 2 Discussion

and dude I got more points and look at the GF-GA differential. You're +3 lol, you were lucky to even make the playoffs.
Hopefully ratings are a bit more spread out next year so the standings are spread out a bit more and the GM's who work to get the best teams have a better chance of winning.

We will just have to wait and see, there should be no reason for a "weaker" team to win in a 7 game series.

HA with these ratings yes, I've said it all year long and still do. No one can say they have a better team than Columbus for this year and NJ's the best team in the East. Whatever we'll see what happens, I won't take any credit away from your team but I still stand by what I've been saying that the cup winner will be luckier than he is good.

Anyone you put in won't be as big as a help as Zubrus would be, I always hate injuries in playoffs, in another league i was in i lost my #3 d man just before playoffs then my #2 during playoffs as well as my 3rd best forward.
But oh well, it happens

I've never heard so much bitching. Why did you join this league after you saw the ratings? Did you build your team around something else? It seems like everyone but you built there team based on what Eric/Bryce provided us. To say you are losing because of the rating system shows me just how much of a sore loser you are.

You should take a look at Phoenix and what happened to them. You don't see them bitching about losing Sundin during the playoffs. Or how about Minnesota having a glitch with their lines? Now, those are real problems.

If I get eliminated from the playoffs this year I think I will blame Eric and Bryce for not rating Hasek as if he was playing in the late 90s

I joined cuz I wanted to join and I'm not bitching I just made them aware of the issue and made my comment and then people are arguing and telling me I'm wrong so I argued back and I'm proving my point.
I'm not blaming Bryce and Eric, they've done a great job but the league can be improved and I think a league can only be as good as its ratings and that's where the focus needs to be for next year.
I've talked to Bryce about it and he understands my point and says he's made changes for next year so we'll see.

Good series Phoenix. Was a much closer series than 4-1. Those OT games could have gone either way.

Why Kovalchuk and Savard were on killing a penalty in double overtime fools me but hey they got it done.

Congrats EDM.  A job well done.  I wish we actually showed up for this series and made it a little more dramatic.  We thought Brodeur would have played a little better but your team is smoking and our d was unable to handle your forwards.

Good luck in the next round.  I hope you win so we can say we lost to the Stanley Cup champions!

As for TB, this guy has been setting up his excuse from day 1.  The guy hasn't even been eliminated and is already crying.  I don't understand why we played the season and continue to play the play-offs to be honest because he is convinced that the Stanley Cup should have been awarded to TB, CBJ or NJ.  Apparently there has never been an underdog to win the Stanley Cup in the history of the NHL.  I vote that we flip a coin next year to determine the Stanley Cup winner.

Good luck to all.

I happen to care about this league and want it to be as good as it can be. I work hours every year on my own rerates and happen to understand sim ratings probably better than anyone here so I offer my insight as to what can be improved and it frustrates me when no one seems open to something different when there are clearly improvements that could be made.

Ya we realize that but to put down every team but the ones you think would be good with your ratings is getting tiring.

I'm not putting down every team, I just praise the teams that are good but people get offended for no reason. All I said was that Boston was lucky to be up 3-1 because I was getting killed yet I was outshooting him 131-81. That seems pretty lucky to me and then you call me bitter for stating the obvious.

This sim sucks, I outshot Boston 131-81 in 4 games yet I get outscored 14-6. Totally dominated the series and I've done all I could to get the better goalie. Hopefully he starts playing like the 6 million dollar man soon cuz there's no more room for error.

I think both of you are done.
