I am beside myself, after all the reasons for New Jersey to finish Pittsburgh off, eg: New Jerseys turn to win, and in New Jersey Pittsburgh has found a way to make it happen.
Not positive who we will be seeing next but I am sure we will be a major underdog. Rookie sensation and pick up Marek Svatos has had a sensational series and the team has been playing as a TEAM with no me me me's on this team. An exceptionally strong game came from fourth liner rookie Alexandre Giroux and he set the tone for the game.
The power play was also exceptional scoring 2 goals and major cudos needs to go to coach Paul Maurice for having his players ready to play.
Once again Manny Fernandez was steller and deserves MVP mention for the series certainly.
Last but not least I would like to thank New Jersey and John for such a great series which kept me on top of my toes and wait in anticipation in this final game. It has been a lot of fun, but now it is time to get back down to business and prepare for our round 2 opponent.
