Ratings test with new scale as I suggested

Ok so basically I took the current BRHL ratings and for IT, SP, ST, SK, PA, PC, DF and SC I expanded the scale (multiplied each rating by 1.55 and subtracted 42) so that the ratings went more or less from 95 to 35.
I also expanded it for goalies in a similar way, here are the scoring leaders from my test season:

I barely spent any time on this so there are guys with 60-65 goals which we don't want too many of.
What you can see from this is there are still many overachievers and many underachievers but overall
it is a lot more realiistic than what we have currently, especially for goalies.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Step in the right direction or not?

Yeah I used a 95-35 scale and there's tweaking to do of course to fix the stats and make them accurate, say make it 88-35 for SC and keep the others were they are or something, not too hard to adjust in an hour or two.

Current BRHL2 rosters (you can see the team name in paranthesis), as you can see Alfredsson is leading the league but playing with Forsberg is makes sense, Elias and Iginla up there playing together etc.

I'll leave my opinion on what I think should be done out of this, casue I'll live with what we do. Either way and there are pros and cons to both. However, it would be nice to see Iginla get 53 goals compared to 28.

Freakin brilliant..Like you said to many top scorers..but easily could iron things out and run even up to 4 or 5 more tests.

Just to add, notice Crosby is not in the leaders, he actually had 80 pts and he was playing with Dustin Brown and Jeff Carter. Even top players are not guaranteed to be in the top if they play with 3rd-4th line players and there will still be random overperformers like Yanic Perreault with 90 pts and there will always be but way fewer than currently.

Just wondering if there is anyway we could see the all the players stats? I just thought it would be interesting to see what some of the other players ended up with

Ya, Id like to see that also,

anyway u can upload the HTML output on a page we can all accees?

The SIM is all about probability...and a team with better players should have better probability of winning.....i am for the new rating system

Here's a link to the Team Scoring and League Leaders:

It took me about 10 minutes to adjust the ratings so with a little more work they can be greatly improved, this just gives you an idea of the results.

Those are genius, 100% better than what we've got now!
