I think the offseason RIGHT AFTER THE LEAGUE WAS FIRST CONTRIVED is a good time to change up a few rules that are clearly wrong.
clearly wrong? says who? You and Florida? Bryce and Eric have the same interpretation I have.
Havent read much of the post, and dont have time.. 14 hour days will be the norm for me the next month or so so I wont be around much.
1. We've used this UFA system for years in BRHL, I say with confidence it has worked very well for us. Let us run through at least 1 UFA period and see your opinion after, thats all we ask.
2. We're always looking for feedback and value everyone's opinions.
3. Calgary still sucks.
4. Being a cash league no cap is a non-starter otherwise it becomes damn impossible to find someone to pay to run the ****ty team when there is no real need to move high salaried players by teams with 60 million payrolls.
5. There will be NO Maximum contract value for a UFA, otherwise it becomes subjective if everyone offers a max deal. The biggest yearly salary we've ever seen is in the 9 million range (Sakic, LeCavalier who was a cap casualty).
