Brodeur has started 56 of 63 games. Your organization has NOT had a backup play the mandatory minimum number of minutes AS PER THE RULES.
The team needs to play the backup more to avoid violating the rules, against the L.A. Kings seems like an ideal time.
Please do not recite the rules to me. If you would have read my post when this Sundin bull$hit hit the fan, I do mention that we are FULLY AWARE of the rules. You expect me to remember an email from October, yet you can't remember my post from yesterday? Naughty, naughty, tsk, tsk.
Last I checked, our backup goalies only needed to play 1.5 more games to reach the minimum requirement (didn't even have to use my calculator).
And just to impress you even more with my league participation, I emailed the commish 2 weeks ago to clarify the rule (because the bible - i.e. rulebook - did not indicate if you can add up the minutes of your #2 or #3 goalie to come to the total requirement)...nor was this in the email from July, August, September, October, November, December or January. So a warning to all paid up GMs, this rule will be open to interpretation.
So please stop acting like the league security guard, mind your business, and let's get on with this season...unless you want to become another co-gm of the mighty Coyotes? I really don't think you should be telling the first place team when you feel Brodeur should be benched. NICK
