Nick - the smarter of the 3 Coyote GMs here....

I would prefer a random lottery....BUT...I'd vote for this since there have been too many questionable calls in this league, and this could help reduce that. No one can accuse anyone of anything.

Dan - the best looking out of the three and really, what would you rather have brains or hot chicks?

Nick, my co-GM is really really smart.

Just an update. The Lotto is Tuesday the 10th in the NHL. Looking forward to it. But we do need to make sure we finish the next 3 sims by then.

I think we need to sim tonight. However, I guess we dont have to have our place in order for the draft. So there may not be a need to rush.

I'm not sure what difference it makes if we finish now, or 3 weeks from now with regards to draft order...

It doesnt make too too much of a difference except for that if we know who will win the lottery teams might "aim to finish" in that particular spot. But Buffalo, LA, NYR and Vancouver are already going to finish last, 2nd last, 3rd last, and 4th last respectively, so alot of the final standings are already decided. Plus they will be even moreso after the Sunday and Monday sims.

So essentially, no, it doesnt matter too much if we finish before the NHL lottery. Plus I dont know too many teams that can manipulate their lineups and the sim enough to aim for a specific spot in the standings haha.
