The Bruins have hooked up with division rival Toronto on a deal that cuts a bit of salary and addresses a few depth concerns.

The final deal sees Boston deal Alex Henry, Nolan Pratt, Doug Weight, and Ryan CLowe. Coming back to Boston for his final swan song and cup run is Mario Lemieux, Mike LeClerc adds depth on the wing, although early word from Bob Hartley is LeClerc will be the extra forward for the time being, and solid defenseman Sean Hill.

""Moving Dougie for Mario is basically a wash, getting Mario allows us more flexibility, but everyone knows I am the biggest Dougie fan there is, however I had to make this move. Getting Sean Hill for Pratt is a big upgrade for us, and he was really the key to the deal for us. He will probably play with Joni on the second unit and provides us that experience and depth we covetted. Leclerc will be an additional depth guy up front who we may look to flip elsewhere. overall we cut a bit of salary and upgraded our depth, something that we felt was nessecary. Bringing Mario in should add another veteran presence to our team."
