Not to be a sh*t disturber, but how did Brashear get to the farm on Boston? He's 69 OV, but has played 22 games. Does he need to clear waivers? Do GM's have only a certain amount of time to catch it, or is it posted somewhere when a player goes on waivers? If he didn't go to the minors, the Bruins would be over the salary cap.... so just wondering.
I just acquired him from NYI, where he was on the farm. I'm not sure how he got their but with that amount of games played, he would have had to clear waivers to go down. I dont follow the waiver wire daily, but I'd assume he went down awhile ago while in NYI. Mayeb someone can confirm.....
Yeah, I imagine he went down a while ago and was on Waivers. I'm pretty sure he was and I remember not wanting to pick him up lol. But as long as he's under 70 he can stay on the farm, no matter what his salary is.

And for future reference, the sim doesn't always place players on Waivers that should be on Waivers. It should announce a player going on Waivers on the Transactions page anytime a player who is over 23 and has played 10 or more games is sent down. However, a lot of times it doesn't announce it, it will simply say so and so sent to the Farm and you've got to go and check how many games he's played and how old he is.
I did that with Poapst earlier this year, found that he'd played over 10 games, and put a claim in. It was processed. It's just a glitch with the sim that the Waivers announcement isn't always made.
You can also put a claim in anytime a 70OV(+) player is sent to the farm, regardless of age. However that player must be placed on your pro team and will be placed back on the orginial team's pro roster if he goes unclaimed.
