With recent success and competition loading up on depth, the Av's are looking to make a few moves.
On the Block:
Jiri Slegr (70OV dman, good PC. looking for a similar 69-70 OV forward in return)
Jose Theodore (would like to package Theo up with a good prospect (ryan, wheeler, downie, schwarz, pokulok) for a back-up tender and a good forward.
Andrei Zyuzin (defensive minded solid dman. good age and contract. Looking for similar forward in return)
For you team looking for a push in the next two years. prospects: ryan, wheeler, downie, schwarz, pokulok
Looking for quality players, non UFA bound and not retiring.
I will tend offes on Malkin, but it has to be a sweet deal (anyone else remember the BRHL insider saying that taking Malkin in the 2nd round was one of the worst picks of the draft??)
I will also listen to offers on Richards, Morrow, Corvo and Van Ryn, but I will be looking for a good/even return. Please don't value Corvo as a 71OV dman, i would rather hold onto him and have him rated good for next year...
he said Yashin was the worst pick of the draft to, i think he is doing ok playing on the 2nd line in anaheim.
NO that was a different guy. Buffalo was trying to get Malkin in that 2nd round. That was a different article. However the article we did write, had to do with yashin being the worst pick in the draft. We still think it could be. 7.6 for 3 years..for a player who has been doing well but is also one of the biggest risks in the league due to his attitude.
