The Bruins continue to bolster their roster and have struck a deal with the Rangers to address some forward depth.
Coming to Boston are Bobby Holik and Sergei Brylin from the Rangers. Leaving are Bill Guerin and his contract, Doug Murray, Filip Novak and 2 million dollars....
Brylin will take Guerins spot on teh right side, while Holik is expected to take over centering the top line. The team kicked in 2 million to move Billy Guerin and his contract. The Bruins forward corps is taking on a noticeable defensive approach as 8 of the top 12 forwards will all have DF ratings over 70.
Wow Guerin's contract is probably the worst in the league right now, Holik's aint much better though. Couldn't the Bruins have just bought out Guerin for an equal amount of money, without taking on a 2nd cap albatross in Holik?

Acquiring Holik fits our team model we needed a center desperately....to peddle Guerin for 2 players our cap situation is still manageable, but our team is more rounded as we needed.
