Everything minor league related

Okay, after a lot of work setting it up, the minors are set up and ready to go. On the right hand side of the page is the minors section, and their will be a minor feature up after every minors sim. The schedule is very compressed, and with roughly 100 days left in the pro's and in the minors, the minors simming schedule is as followed

Tuesdays - 3 days

Thursdays - 3 days

Sundays - 3 days

So we will sim 9 days per week. The reason for the schedule is to run on a steady stream, and if my schedule causes me to miss a day, their is no real rush. I will have an updated set of league files up, the night after a sim and teh night before, so that teams can dress who they need.

Teams have 10,000 seating available and ticket prices are $25 apiece, these are NOT adjustable. Teams will likely sell out every game, so you will make roughly 10.25 per minors season. So if your payroll in the minors is over that, you're going to lose money in the regular season.

Injuries in the minors WILL carry over to the pro's but they are much lower than the pro's.

IF you have any players on your prospect list who played in the AHl or ECHl in the 05-06 season, you can still have them created, BUT they may not be processed right away, again it depends on how much time I have. Any sent in before Tuesday's inaugural sim will be processed though.

If you have any other questions, please post them here so I can answer them. One I know will come up, if you have multiple games during teh sim (remember I do 3 days at once) And want your backup to start game 1, or 2 or 3, you can include that as a message with your lines and I will do that.

10.25 MILLION? That's a lot of cash to be adding to each team, and is going to seriously undermine the value of cash already made and traded for, as there is a limit to how much each team can spend on signing bonuses.

Well it's 10.25 minus your farm payroll. Since the minimum salary is 450k, 20 times 450k gives 9 million.

Which means the most a team can make is 1.25 million and many will lose money.

Although Bryce I think you should test this because it's not because you have 10 000 seats at 25 bucks and 41 games that it will equal 10.25M it depends on the finance setting in the sim.

I've ran 5 test seasons, all with playing with the sliders and ticket prices. the 10.25 is  what your team will bring in, if your payroll is 10.25 million, then you'll be right around the breakeven point, shoulda stated that more clearly.

Minor leaguers make 10% of their pro salary right? That's all I intend to pay my guys...

In the minors they will be making their full salary, because the building is also filling out each game....Basicaly unless you're sending a bunch of guys with big contracts to the minors, you should have no problem turning a small profit there.

John does have a point there, not that I mind but we were never really told they would make full salaries.

Without earning their full salary, then it would be a huge cash cow, which we don't want for the minors either. This way you can turn a small profit...Otherwise we simply turn finances off and their is no cash involved in minors.

I would actually prefer that...

As would I. I see that I've got Laraque and his million salary there... didn't think that was going to play any sort of factor...
