The Boston Bruins have released this statement from the desk of Owner/GM Bryce Shuck;
It is with great anticipation, that the Bruins organization is announcing the hiring of Matt Chinnick as the teams assistant GM, his email is dwshlskyleafs@yahoo.ca . We were in the market for an assistant due to my other commitments within the Bruins organization, as well as within the league, hiring a top assistant was a priority and we went through a TON of applications and got the guy we wanted. We extremely excited about Matt joining our organization.
In his role with the Bruins, Matt will be out and about seeking out trades with other teams, all the while using myself as a sounding board. I'll still be talking trades with teams, but Matt has the authority to search out deals, however, the final stamp of approval will come from myself. Matt also will be submitting lines and handling the day to day operations of the squad.
We are very happy with the way the team has played thus far this season, and the way we have continued to stockpile assets, we will be looking to package some of our prospects and younger players to start orming a solid roster. We are committed to making the playoffs this season, while building the team for a huge jump next season and continual growth in the following years.
Should you have any questions regarding deals, do not hesitate to contact myself or Matt (who will be introducing himself) and lets make a deal.
My name is Matt Chinnick and I am very happy to be announced as the Assistant GM of the Boston Bruins.
I will try to ease the workload on Bryce by handing some of the day to day GM duties as well as exploring some trade possiblities. For the first while all deals will have to be confirmed by Bryce but i do hope to get some preliminary talks going with you.
I have come to the BRHL with experience in many other FHS leagues and look to use this to help build the Bruins into a top tier team.
I can be reached on ICQ at 285-665-898 and email dwshlskyleafs@yahoo.ca I look forward to hearing from you all and begining to discuss possible player movements.
I want to thank Bryce for the oppurtunity and look forward to the challenge.
