Rulebook Updates

In the future, could we please be informed (via email or on the message board) when the rulebook is updated or changed. I go in occasionally and find that the rulebook has been updated or changed when no notice has been given.

I find it a little sneaky and disconcerting that the rulebook is updated without notice, and that trades are put through without any notice about the deals to the rest of the league.

I've asked that there be somewhere to view transactions already, rather than having to check the transactions page every night, yet nothing has been done.

I've just looked again and there is a ton of new stuff that wasn't there before, honestly, how is anyone supposed to know the rules if they're updated whenever anyone thinks up new stuff to add.

How about some consultation among the league, or at least notification when rules are changed or updated.

That is standard procedure. And given this is a cash league it becomes ever more important.

Rule changes and trades should be AT LEAST viewable by g.m.s, though having the opportunity to provide input before any final decisions are made would be preferable.

That said, I trust the commishes and think they are acting in our best interests.

If there are trades that have already been completed.. we have to view them.. as this will come back into play when all gm's vote on who made the best deal for a contender and the best deal for who is rebuilding... (there are money payouts for those 2 categories) so hopefully we aren't missing any deals at all. im trying to pay attention to most of them.

I could not agree more with Columbus GM. We need to be kept up to date on all league movement in all areas preferably before it actually happens. I also think that in most cases unless not warranted, that all changes should be put forth by poll to all members. After all this is not just a pay league, but a league of dedicated members with valued interests.

As far as I know the Rules have not been updated since the League Draft started. And when they were changed it was addressed in an e-mail or on the board. The only changes I've made to the rules is in the HTML to correct links and other parts. But I know that I have not updated or changed anything. I also don't think that Bryce has been updating it since I have been doing most of the work lately.
