It still has to get approved by the league, so its not 100% that this deal is going to go through, but man, he will be friggen 40 when the deal is up! They are so stupid. I bet its some kind of ongoing joke that turned into reality, who does this kind of stuff?

a ten-year deal has some logic to it, especially with signs of salary escalation to come, but 15 years???


Nice to see the Wang committee get upstaged by Philly's Bobby Clarke: $1.9 million for Kesler?????? Vancouver will match of course, but it'll just be a ONE-year deal with the need to make a qualifying offer of 1.9 again after next season or else he becomes an unrestricted free agent! 1.9 mill for one year of Kesler is OBSCENE in a CAP league, at this stage of his career.
