So here we go. Game 6 of the AHL playoffs, down 3 games to 2, and starter Chris Osgood will be sitting in the press box because "he's tired".

I hear ya, facing elimination and I could not put my starter in because he was out of breath...and........ I am eliminated!

I did some research and discovered that the highest farm goalie DU rating is 58. I can only assume that this is in part due to the BRHL's legacy rating system that worked within the V1 sim. It obviously needs to be reworked going forward.

The BRHL universe is trying to make a realistic sim. Hence the entire rating system being modeled after regular season performance. That being said, goalies regardless of their DU, should not run into exhaustion issues in the playoffs, period. It makes zero sense. An easy solution would have been to remove the DU factor for the playoffs and let teams compete properly.

I sincerely hope there is another BRHL2 season as I will champion changes to the entire goalie DU rating system.

From soon to be retired, possible hall of fame candidate Chris Osgood, and the entire Tampa Bay Lightning organization, I wish the remaining teams in the BRHL2 playoffs the best of luck.

I had the same issue with my farm goalies....had to alternate as well as Nolan Schaeffer was unable to compete in back to back games( not that he's any good) and was forced to use my back-up.

i think the goalie exhaustion helped the dallas stars to their cup.. backup chris mason 3 wins in the brhl2 stanley cup finals
