Not sure why I am forced to play all these top teams not in my division 5,4,3 times in a year, you would figure that there would be a more balance schedule of conference and non-conference games... Make the Wild chances of playing the playoffs a whole lot harder having to play these teams that many times... Just sayin...
Anytime you would like to switch divisions with me just let me know Derek...lol...try Jets, Caps, Panthers, Lightning for a division to have to face that many times and then mix in some games against the other eastern powerhouses like Buffalo, Flyers, and Devils! If you manage a .500 record against the division, then you need to be about 10 games over .500 to have a shot at the play-offs so thinking you may not have that tough a schedule after all...not trying to be a prick...just a counter-point...lol
Totally understand your points and I would play any competition within my division whether they are good or bad, but there is an unbalanced amount of teams from other conferences where it should be balanced like it is in the NHL, that is all I was trying to address...
