Hey guys, just a few quick hit updates for you. As many of you have noticed, I'm in my typical sabbatical where I disappear for a stretch after UFA. But I wanted to hit on a few things.

1. There is a good chance we will have the portal running very soon.

2. I know there are still a few guys out there who's RFA/UFA status was affected. Please take the time to refer back to last year and make sure you don't have anyone this applies to. http://brhlhockey.com/BRHL2/File/RegularSeason5/BRHL2-TeamRoster.html#Ducks

3. If you do have someone this applies to, email me at bryceshuck@brhlhockey.com and we will get it resolved ASAP.

4. If you trade for a player who this applies to, you will NOT be able to use this. It isn't here as a loophole for teams to acquire guys showing as UFA but who can be signed. The only exception would be if both GMs state they are aware of the situation, and the new team will be fixing the issue.

5. do NOT send lines/trades to my email. Eric sims, and they need to go to the brhl2@brhlhockey.com email for the time being until the portal is up and running.

6. For GM's asking about position changes and height/weight changes , the only way we will change a player is if it is shown on tsn.ca the  players were built from that DB, so we use that as our bible so to speak.

7. I do not have an update as far as realignment with the NHL goes. I will be testing a few things out in the sim to see how it can be handled if/when they do realign.

8. I hope everyone has an awesome year coming up. This has been our roughest offseason with the migration to v2. But I am convinced things should be much smoother now that everything has been done and is set to go.
