Pittsburgh has received a couple of enquiries formerly and recently on Semeon Varlamov.

 

We ask if there exists a good value market for him. He would have get a couple of good young players ( 2x a Nick Spaling,  a Pavel Valentenko, or a Jared Spurgeon) +.

 

We are separately looking for rookie defensemen something in the likes of Mark Barberio.

Varlamov is off the trading block for now. What the Penguins show in discussions was that there was no big value available.

 

Also considering the position he plays, best it be for the Penguins that he plays.
