New York Rangers President and former GM Glen Sather announced today that Andrew Wright will be taking over the clubs General Manager position.
Wright previously served four seasons as head water boy with the Blue, Red and White. Other duties included snow shovelling between whistle's and urinal cleaning after big games. In his expanded role, he somehow convinced Sather to give him full autonomy over the team...indefinitely. He will also continue his involvement with the clubs professional and amateur gatorade mixing operations.
When asked how did he come to fill this position Sather responded "I don't know".
Best of luck Andrew and to the NYR. Bring the cup home :)
