As posted, Rob Botham has moved his entire franchise to Vancouver, moving the Canucks open team and all players to Ottawa. Then they packed up and are going to New Jersey as Jordan Hansford switches to the Ottawa franchise.

This is not necessarily a precednt we like to set, especially accross conferences, but both Ottawa & Vancouver are rebuilding so there was no harm there. Jersey stays in conference, so thats not a big issue either. Just makes teh Northeast more of a powerhouse.

We would not do a switch simply to have a team move out of conference (lets be honest, the East is significantly tougher at the moment).
