Hey guy's, is there a link for the next season ratings on here? When I click the other link it just comes up as un-available. I know that it was mentioned before about goalie ratings maybe not being accurate but thought I would kick the tires a bit myself. I have Elliott and Turco as my combo now. Turco went to Chicago and lost his starting job this past season but is still a reasonable back-up yet many farm goalies have much better rates. Elliott played for a piss-poor Ottawa team as the starter and was then moved to another piss-poor Colorado team as the starter. Everyone not under a rock realizes that his stats fell badly but the teams he played on have to take some of the heat and he logged starter ice time. With that being said, farm goalies that have not played a min. in an NHL game in 4 years have better rates then a poor #1 Pro goalie. I understand that there are up-and-coming goalie stars( Reimer, Holtby, etc.) but they have not played enough pro games combined to really put a "true" value on. I am not saying either of my guys are competing for the Vezina next season but both are playing pro hockey and a ****ty #1 guy should still rate as well as a solid back-up guy and neither are capable of back-stopping my farm team next season with their re-rates. Just something to consider as we head into the off-season.
