BULLLL****TTT!!! if i woulda known this rule was even being thought of i woulda completed a deal with montreal where he gears toward rebuild and i get a UFA vet.. i couldnt do deal because i thought id be over 23 player limit.... this would be brutal addition to our league and a totally new wrinkle we dont need

gotta agree with kirk on this one.. i would have made moves too but with the roster max at 23... i didnt deliver on the deals.. so i also put no.. maybe it can be discusssed for next season

Agreed. Terrible idea to make rule changes near the end of the season.
It wouldn't be fair to anyone who is doing well within the current structure.

I agree...if anything, this rule should be put into place next season...all that would be accomplished by changing the rule now is rewarding bad planners.

i vote against it next year even.. it would take the 60best guys out of our waiver draft (something that really doesnt benefit me) keep it at 23 and not allow top top teams to assemble 25 man powerhouse's..

isnt the waiver draft only top 20.. you can protect and not 23... so there should still be plenty of talent.. and considering this years UFA pool the league will finally get into the role of UFA signings.. the first few seasons not soo much with the tags but now it should be very interesting.
